Prior to the age of 19, I had never left the eastern US or Canada, and prior to 29 had never flown abroad. In the over ten years since then, I’ve been making up for lost time and have been to nearly every US state and over 15 countries including Russia, Japan, Turkey, China, and Malaysia.

I love to experience local culture and meet people, try new and interesting (and sometimes scary) foods and languages, and leave a light impact. In recent years, I’ve been given the opportunity to travel frequently for speaking engagements, mixing work and play as I go.

Below, countries are color-coded according to how long it’s been since I was last there, the lightest colors indicating a last visit of ten or more years ago. For countries in which I’ve traveled extensively, like my native US and Canada, I’ve also colored states and provinces.
