Via Coleman, a great video tour of the new HEY email platform.
I didn’t watch the whole thing, but I saw enough to a) pique my interest and b) have a little nostalgia for the time when Apple would have done this sort of thing in the Mac Mail.app directly. I miss this sort of innovation from them—just plain making an already-established technology that much better and more pleasant to use. It’s not as game-changing as AR or seamless syncing of your documents across all of your platforms, but it’s practical and helpful and solves a big problem for millions of people. Sigh.
