This article interviewed 511 endocrinologists, and the general consensus was that flying is riskier than getting a haircut but less risky than eating in a restaurant. I think that most of the risk is pre-flight, in the airport: crowds at the security checkpoints, gates, and so on. And that those are manageable with mask wearing and situational awareness. So while I am not flying yet, I might be willing to soon.

This particular chain was put together manually, but expect machine learning techniques to be able to do this sort of thing automatically – and for organizations like the NSA to implement them on a broad scale.
This is absolutely going to be automated in the future, as well as computer vision identifying anything in the background of your photos and videos… products purchased, room size, time of day based on natural lighting, and maybe even paint colors on the wall, all correlated with purchase histories, if possible.

If I could distribute my iOS app outside of the App Store, I would. I’d switch in a heartbeat.
I agree with this so much. Every now and then I think about getting back into iOS development. I have scores of ideas and know-how to see them through. But the store process and all of its baggage makes it not worth it to me, so I spend my time in other technologies.

Adopted at the party’s 2016 convention, it has been carried over through 2024 after the executive committee of the Republican National Committee on Wednesday chose not to adopt a new platform for 2020.
The platform censures the “current” president — who in 2016 was, of course, Barack Obama — and his administration for, among other things, imposing “a social and cultural revolution,” causing a “huge increase in the national debt” and damaging relationships with international partners.
